February, 19th, the first day of the exhibition. “Optics Salon. Ukraine 2007 exhibition combined experience and technology of modern domestic and foreign companies working in this sphere. More than 70 companies from 10 countries and 8 regions of Ukraine became its participants.”- marked Volodymyr Ivanov, the General Director of Kyiv International Contract Fair, JSC, at the opening ceremony.

Mykola Polishchuk, the Ukrainian President Counselor, congratulated all the participants on behalf of the President’s Secretariat and said that Optics Salon. Ukraine 2007 is an important event not only for experts in this sphere but for the whole country, as the represented products and medical equipment can not only correct their sight but make people more beautiful, happier. In conclusion, he wished successful work to all the exhibitors and organizers.

Volodymyr Zagorodniy, the deputy head of the healthcare and medical supplies department of Kyiv State Administration, marked that the exhibition was better than he expected. “Every year Optics Salon. Ukraine 2007  increases in approximately 40%. It is both the participants’ and the organizers’ merit. I consider that this exhibition won’t stop at the achieved.                 

Valeriy Devko, the president of All-Ukrainian Association Ukroptika, expressed his gratuity to all the participants for their enthusiasm and creative approach to stands‘ design. He wished successful exhibition to all the present.

Volodymyr Mykhailov, the first Vice–president of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International  Chamber of Commerce, marked the necessity of the business-program  - holding seminars and master-classes will give an opportunity of experience exchanging and elaborating joint solutions on difficult problems.
